Let's win a Pele

Also known as the American Advertising Awards or "Addys", the Pele Awards is an annual event celebrating the best of design and advertising in Hawaii. W|W led the planning and creative for the 2020 show, which centered around a fun retro game show theme.

Website redesign

W|W redesigned the Pele Awards website. The CMS  features flexible content blocks and allows successive agencies to customize the look to future themes by enabling selection of fonts, colors and images.

Virtual Pele Hana

While unfortunately the live show, scheduled for May 2 at the Alohilani Hotel, had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus, the show had to go on. The W|W team encouraged the community to share what they #WouldHaveWorntoPeles on Instagram, and organized a Facebook live stream to celebrate the winning work.

Winner's site

W|W designed and developed an entirely new winner's site to showcase the winning work and create an easy way to look back on the work of years past. With a custom CMS and user-friendly interface, the site is intended to be easy to use for future agencies and scalable for years to come.
