PEOPLE, PLANET, PLACE, PERFORMANCE

The p4 initiative, spearheaded by the City of Pittsburgh and The Heinz Endowments, is a major effort to forge a new model of urban growth and development that is innovative, inclusive and sustainable. p4 builds upon Pittsburgh’s global relationships with cities, advocates for equity and inclusion, clean technology innovators, universities, and globally renowned architects and planners to create a new sustainable and inclusive approach to urban development, design, building, and employment. Its goal is a world-class city that benefits all its citizens.

W|W designed and developed the p4 website that supports the 2016 conference while serving as a key information portal beyond the event, becoming the destination for timely content about urban development. The responsively designed website is powered by BlokBlok CMS, a Ruby on Rails + Javascript content management system, and leverages a powerful tagging convention in the CMS to connection relational content.  View the p4 website.
